These Terms govern the use of 1MinuteHell, the official website and the online functions. The Game is developed by Alessandro Iemma.
By using the Game or the online services, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the online functions.
1MinuteHell is an indie video game. Online functions may include free accounts, public leaderboards, statistics, achievements, cloud save/synchronisation and optional Discord linking for community functions and rank roles.
You can play offline without creating an account. Features that require a connection are not available offline.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Game for personal and non-commercial purposes. This license does not transfer any ownership rights in the Game.
To use the online functions, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activities carried out through your account. Do not share your credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect an unauthorised access.
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. We ask you to keep a single account.
You may not:
Username, scores, records, statistics, achievements and avatar may be shown in the leaderboards, in public profiles and in the other functions described in the Privacy Policy. Choose content that you have the right to use and that does not violate the rights of third parties.
By uploading or using such content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, free license, limited to the duration necessary to host, process, reproduce and display the content for the sole purpose of managing and promoting the Game's functions. For the optional participation in "Best of Season", the specific information and consent indicated in the Privacy Policy also apply.
Discord account linking is optional. By using Discord, you also accept its terms and its privacy policy. We may remove roles or deactivate the link when necessary for the security or the proper functioning of the service.
The Game and its related elements, including code, graphics, audio, texts, trademarks, logos, interfaces, databases and other content, are protected by the applicable rules and belong to the Owner or the respective owners of rights. You may not redistribute, sell, sub-license or claim ownership of the Game or its content without prior written authorisation.
The Game uses Godot Engine under the terms of its license: https://godotengine.org/license/.
The Game and the online functions are provided on an availability basis. We may update, fix, modify, suspend or interrupt, in whole or in part, functions, content and online services for technical, security, legal or development reasons. Where reasonably possible and proportionate, we will give prior notice of substantial changes or of a final closure of the online functions.
We do not guarantee continuous availability, absence of errors or compatibility with every device, connection or software. We nevertheless commit to provide the service with the diligence required by applicable law.
You may request the closure of your account and the deletion of your data in accordance with the procedures set out in the Privacy Policy.
No ban system is provided. However, in the event of a breach of these Terms, fraud, cheating, manipulation of the leaderboards, abuse or security risk to the service, we may limit access to the online functions or delete the account, without prior notice when necessary and permitted by law. This measure does not limit any further rights or remedies provided by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Controller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, progress, opportunities or profits, nor for outages caused by third-party providers, network failures, technical incompatibilities, cyber-attacks, force majeure events or other circumstances beyond the Controller's reasonable control.
We may update these Terms in case of changes to the Game, technical, legal or security needs. We will publish the new version with the date of update. If a change is substantial and significantly affects your rights or obligations, we will adopt a reasonable means to inform you in advance, where possible. If you do not accept the new Terms, you may stop using the service and request the closure of your account.
If any provision of these Terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. The mandatory rights recognised to consumers under the applicable law remain unaffected.

Please remember that this is an independent, indie game created by a single person. The rights and terms may contain inaccuracies; if you do not agree, we always renew our invitation, at any time, to contact us by email to correct or make the necessary changes. With these privacy and terms notices, we only want to create a game that is as transparent as possible. We invite you to be actively part of it, without fear. Thank you.
